We at Golden Orb have a range of secure call offerings which can provide you with the connectivity and security you need whatever the situation.

In addition to protecting actual conversations, Golden Orb can also enable clients to manage their identities when using fixed, mobile and IP phones by presenting a caller ID of their choice such as a local or international geographic or mobile number when making and receiving calls. These call paths can be further protected to prevent non-warranted tracing of calls and location of the caller in sensitive situations.

Our services have a range of features, designed to keep your communications, location and identity truly confidential.

• Number Mapping – Uses a UK or overseas land line number to route calls to your mobile so your contacts can reach you, wherever you are using a number of your choice. This number is also presented on any outgoing call to further protect your identity.
• Secure Voicemail – Only you have access to your voicemail from pre-selected phone numbers, with all access attempts being logged.
• Do Not Disturb – Send all calls directly to voicemail when you’re busy. You can opt to receive notification of calls via SMS or email if you need to know what you’re missing.
• Call Recording – Record calls, for personal use only, so you don’t miss a thing.
• Encrypted Calls – The ultimate protection, for both mobile and fixed phones so no one can discover the content of your calls or text messages, even if they can find a way to intercept them.

Technical Specifications

Golden Orb operates it’s own private fixed and mobile voice/data network from multiple data centres across the UK. It is a tier one level network with multiple interconnects to BT and other national operators around the world and operates at UK RESTRICTED level and above, being managed by staff who are all security cleared. Evaluation Assurance Levels (EAL’s) can be confirmed prior to transmission of information for absolute confidence where required.

Through a partnership with Cellcrypt, Golden Orb provides its clients with optional access to end-to-end encryption ensuring conversations are unable to be compromised at any point along untrusted networks.  The encryption client installs over the cellular network, and is provides Government level encryption validated to FIPS 140-2. It runs on a wide range of smart-phones including iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Symbian devices and works across all major wireless networks including 2G (GPRS, EDGE, 1xRTT), 3G (UMTS, HSDPA, EV-DO) satellite broadband and WiFi.
