Golden Orb Networks Ltd has been providing secure voice and data networks to government, police and commercial clients since 1994. Since then we have consistently led the field in creating a series of unique fixed and mobile telephony solutions for our customers both in terms of security and compliance with their key requirements in sensitive areas.
Several of these solutions have incorporated technology patented by Golden Orb in the the area of half-encryption and the company continues to develop Intellectual Property in several key areas of secured communications technology.
As a Tier One operator and MVNO, Golden Orb is able to provide a wide range of fixed and mobile telephony and mobile data services to both Government agencies and commercial clients in the UK, Europe and elsewhere.
Our Past
Originally formed to provide specialist telecommunications solutions to the UK Navy and overseas military personnel, Golden Orb has been providing secure voice and data networks to government, police and commercial clients since 1994.
Since then we have consistently led the field in creating a unique level of fixed and mobile telephony solutions for our customers both in terms of security, and compliance with their key requirements.
Today Golden Orb continues to develop genuinely innovative solutions to complex security problems for a wide range of Government and commercial clients.

Our entire staff are all security cleared to multiple standards and many have previous experience within the security services.

Investors/Management
Golden Orb Networks Ltd has been operating in various forms since 1994 and is a privately owned UK company with a single majority shareholder with some equity also owned by the staff. The companies CEO, Simon Cavill is a telecoms industry veteran and experienced entrepreneur with almost 30 years in the industry. All the Golden Orb staff are security cleared to multiple standards and are highly experienced in various aspects of secure telephony and mobile data services.
Golden Orb Networks Ltd is part of the Waterbridge Capital Group which is a specialist private equity operation with international interests in the areas of financial services, IT & telecommunications, security and outsourcing.
The Waterbridge Capital Group is headed by Steve Berry who has over 25 years international business experience that includes starting and floating various companies, holding executive and non-executive directorships, including Unison Capital Holdings, one of Japan’s largest private equity companies.
Steve’s background is finance, working in capital and securities markets for over 10 years in New York, London and Tokyo for Bankers Trust Company. This period in international banking was followed by private equity venturing, a focus that is retained to the present day.
